Change is Here to Stay

Evan is changing so much these days...and I have a feeling that he's not slowing down anytime soon.  Here are a few of his latest changes:

1. His new favorite thing is "standing".  He LOVES when we stand him up and gets the biggest grin on his face like he is so pleased with himself.  It is the cutest thing.

2. Evan is just starting to enjoy the jumperoo we got for him (yay for craigslist finds!).  He doesn't quite get the concept of jumping yet, but boy does he love viewing the world from an upright position.  He's getting so much better at holding his head up and supporting himself.

 3. Nowadays everything goes right to his mouth - his hand, my fingers, toys, blankets...pretty much anything he can grab hold of.  He hasn't yet figured out how to get his fingers into his mouth, but he tries really hard.  I'm hoping he finds them soon.  Will can't believe I actually want our son to suck on his fingers (and have guided his fingers into his mouth on more than one occasion...), but finger sucking = self-soothing.

4. Evan has turned into quite the squealer, and it is pretty much my favorite sound.  His squeal is filled with such joy and glee that I can't help but laugh right along with him.  Here's a video of him squealing for your enjoyment :)
