- My mother-in-law threw us a baby shower this past weekend, and it was such a special day! The food was delicious, the gifts were so generous, and the people were wonderful. We received some great gifts off of our registry (pack-n-play, monitor, bath tub, etc), adorable outfits, lots of children's books (which of course I love!), and much more. A HUGE thank you to Will's family for all of the hard work they did in making it a wonderful day for us. We have been so blessed!
- I have one more baby shower this coming weekend, thrown by two of my good friends! And, if that wasn't exciting enough, my sister is coming up for it!! I'm really looking forward to Amanda's visit...and not just because I plan on fully taking advantage of her decorating and organizing skills :) I'm sure there will be some shopping, eating yummy food, and of course putting the finishing touches on the nursery. One of those "finishing touches" that I am especially excited about are the letters Amanda decoupaged to hang on the nursery wall. My incredibly creative and talented sister has outdone herself with these, and I know they are going to look awesome!
- And finally, I will be FULL TERM in less than a week & a half!!! Friday is 36 weeks, and then it is just one more week to the golden number 37! After that, Evan is welcome to come at any time. Did you hear that, baby? Stay put for another 1 1/2 weeks, but feel free to arrive after that! We can't wait to meet you!! Here's the latest belly picture at 35 weeks...
